DELEON ESSAY

Bringing home a baby is one of the most beautiful things ever. Some people choose to abort that baby, taking away whatever future they could have had. Abortion is cruel and should be illegal in the U.S. It’s taking away a life that could have helped the world, and if you didn’t want the baby, you shouldn’t have got pregnant in the first place.

            Abortion is like taking away a life. You’re heartless if you kill your own child, which is considered as murder because you’re still taking away an innocent life. Instead of killing that baby, you could have given it up for adoption. Why kill your own baby when you can give it away to a family who will take care of the child and love it?

            The baby could have helped the world. The baby could have grown successful and find a cure for cancer. Everyone one is stressing over cancer and the baby could have made all that go away in its future life. A change in the world is what everyone needs and that baby could have done something to provide that need.

            If you didn’t want the baby, and aborted it, then you shouldn’t have gotten pregnant anyway. To prevent pregnancy you should have used protection or give it up for adoption. Even better, not get pregnant at all till you know your ready and really want the baby and can provide all the needs the child would need.

            Abortion is bad in many ways. Some may say it’s good because you can’t provide the needs for the baby, but isn’t that what adoption is for? To prevent abortion, send a letter to the government and tell them why abortion should be illegal in the U.S.

I think this article is based on us obviously and its cool that our school is being recognized by other people.

It made me feel like our school was not normal, in a good way.Like we are unique or something not like anyone else.

My game wasnt in there but then again its because we didnt finish a level. But if it was in there, I would feel proud because I would have acomplished something.




5.What do you think what game the author should have included?
Nothing because he already included the ones I like, Which are Forest Rats and Flood Escape.

Forks Over Knives

Rats that ate 20% had more higher rates with diseases than the rats that had 5% and remained healthy.
most research says that people who had cancer in their family got it but people who didn't have it in their family got it from their diet. Because they eat unhealthy.They use food to help because its healthier and makes the patients feel better. they put corn syrup in everything because its cheap but its bad for you and it makes things taste better. A lot of people want fast food and its unhealthy.

To teach us the natural disasters of the heros in our game.
How will the player learn about the topic from playing your game?
 You will learn about the natural disasters and make the heros escape. 
What you would like to add or improve upon in the game? 
I would like to improve the sounds and how it moves and the details.
What was the most challenging part of creating this game?
The actions. It was hard to make the enimy and the hero move.
What are you most proud of or what did you figure out through critical thinking and trial/error? I figured out how to move the hero faster than the enimy and make it move side to side and jump.

Intro screen:
Team Introduction: Anjelica: The Code collecter, Joyce: The Programer, Rosemarie: The Fact Finder, Alejandra: Helped With Paper Prototype.
Audience:  Elementary ages ( 5-8 )
Gameplay:The player sees the diffrent animations and the characters trying to get away. you win by defeating the enimes. The goal of the game is to defeat all the enimes and help save the criters habitat.
Learning Goal: Playes will learn that eveyrhthing and anything effects animals habits and they will learn how to stop it.
Fun Factor: They will get to use cute characters and get its an adventure game.
Smart Factor:This game teaches people to stop pollution.

What are your thoughts on the short doc that we just viewed? Sweatshops are no joke. They are still around and taking advantage of people all over the world. There are even sweatshops in America still taking advantage of poor, uneducated people today. How does this make you feel?




My thoughts on this video was that its not fair and people are people, so you shouldnt treat them like that. Sweatshops are bad and people who work in those conditions deserve the same rights as we have and should get paid more. You should be help the uneducated people to make the next generation better, NOT making them live in those conditions and having to strugle with what they are going to be eating and worrying about their children. These people And all people in sweatshops deserve rights and a good place to live. This makes me mad. I think now before you buy something, you should check the background, because you could be paying a whole lot of money for something that didnt cost much to make, and could be made by people who are being worked to death.

How could you take this real-life event and turn this into a game.
You could make a game about this topic by making the meteor falling to the earth and superman flys in and tries to save earth.

I would focus on adventure or action.

This game would gives facts about the meteor.

I don't remember. But I know it was a long time ago.

No because they know i'm not crazy and won't play all night.

Yes, because my step dad is addicted to playing Call of Duty. He plays it when he gets home from work or on the weekends whenever he gets a chance. It's annoying.
