Stand And Deliver

Stand and deliver was a good movie because the teacher never gave up on teaching the students AP Calculus.  The teachers name was Jaime Escalente. I think this movie was mainly about Faith,Helping, and never giving up. I think its about Faith because Jaime Escalente thought that those kids could succeed and they did. I think its about helping because he help them rise from a low level to the very top in very little time. It has team work in it also because they all helped each other and never gave up. Jaime died last year of Cancer. He never gave up on the kids, unlike everyone else. This movie made me want to raise my grades up because if they can do it from a very low point to the top, then i know that i can do it also. This movie has encouraged me. I would reccomend this movie to everyone because its good. 

TAKS Test Next Week!!!

I'm kinda scared that i might fail the math TAKS test because I'm not that very good at math,But then again i saw my grade and its never been higher, i think its because i moved to this school. I know that i will get commended on the reading TAKS becuase i have always been good at reading tests and i been commended on it before in 4th or 5th. I am nervous for the math TAKS and i dont have a problem with the reading one. When TAKS is over i am ganna go to my favorite Tio's house and have fun there because he is my favorite Tio and hes been there for me. Plus hes just fun. I think i will pass the math TAKS but not get commended on it. So i am ganna take extra time on my math TAKS maybe, Just to make sure im going to 7th grade. The reading benchmark i had got commended so i have alot of confidence that i will for sure get commended. I dont like TAKS tests because i hate testing and i dont like work.

My Progress

My progress on this game is really good because now i know what the little boxes on the top means and its called a frame. I also know  how to change the background color and how to change the font. I learned how to do this because a really smart teacher taught me how to do this in steps. I didn't know anything when i moved here because i never done the game thing and now i also know how to change the font in flash and the size and the faded colors and how to view it in a movie form. I am proud of what i have accomplished and something that has been hard for me is figuring some stuff out, I cant explain it but some is hard. Other things in Globaloria I have accomplished are Editing my profile and adding videos to it and the colors. I still don't know how to make the text on my profile not all in one bunch, i want it to have spaces and have some in the center. I also don't know how to get rid of the text in the color with making the color disappear.

2. Team Introduction: The person who worked on this project was Rosemarie
3. Audience: I designed my game for 4th grade-6th grade mainly.
4. Gameplay: The player has to do drag and drop. The player sees a baby bunny that wants a bottle. You have to get the right bottle and give it to the baby bunny. The rules are that each level has a certain goal you have to reach. For each question you get right, you get 10 points. If you get a question wrong it takes off 5 points.When ever the baby bunny reaches his goal, then you can go to the next level. Each level will get harder and harder each time you level up. Each question will get harder and harder each time you level up. The goal of the game is to get as much points as you can.
5. Learning Goal: The player will learn how to find the right decimal to the right fraction.Like a equal Pair.
6. Fun Factor: The color of the game and the sound affects are what makes the game fun way to learn and practice the decimals and fractions. 
7. Smart Factor: My game teaches people to see how a fraction is equal in decimals. Someone can learn how to recognize a fraction and easily say its decimal.
8. Style Factor: I will use a colorful happy animation.There will be a baby crying sound and a squirting sound.
9. Originality Factor: The affects and the sounds will make it unique and the baby bunny and bottles and how its handled will also make it unique. It will sell maybe because some people like babies and bunnies.

MY NOW NEW FAVORITE BOOK!!!

I just finished this book i was reading called Almost Perfect.

This book wasn't any ordinary teen book, it was told by a teen boy instead of those normal teen girl books.

His name is Logan and he has a hard time with his ex girlfriend who cheated on him through out their 3 year long relationship. But one day this new girl named Sage Hendricks comes and catches Logans interest. Logan tries many moves on this girl but shocked when she says shes not aloud to date! But her younger sister is aloud to date. Now sage is 18 years old, by then you would think a 18 year old could date. Logan gets suspicious, he goes over to her house and questions her, after a while of talking it turned to kissing, they were just there kissing and then she pulls him away crying, saying they cant do that anymore. Turns out she finally told him the truth. Which was ..she wasn't born a girl and her parents don't want her dating because of  his wanna be a girl situation.

This is my new favorite book and that is because i never really like reading and because of that interesting book i read, i wanna read more now.

So i recommend you all read this book, its funny, and has a lot of emotions.

Cool Math

Today I played some games at Coolmath.com I had some ideas for my game.
One thing I can add to my game is squirting the milk at the baby bunny  from  the baby bottle. You pick up the baby bottle and drag it to the baby bunny and it squirts it in the face. If you pick the wrong answer then the baby bunny cries. The sound affects will be the baby crying, squirting noises, and the sound of the baby laughing when it gets squirt with milk.

The game will have a way to keep score. The baby bunny will be in its crib.

The game developers did that by using technology, And i will do this by working on my sound affects, the pictures and the movement of the milk squirting.

My Video Game

 I learned something new , I learned how to make my bottles in my new game move to my baby bunny. I also learned how to get a drawing from the Internet and paste it on flash so that I can draw it on there. I drew a baby bunny and it asks math questions. The baby bottles on the left and right of the bunny have the answers, but only one bottle has the right answer. You have to drag the correct bottle to the baby bunny, I feel smart, :D

I was not able to help anyone, because I just moved here, instead I had someone else help me with my stuff. Their names are Madison and Lauren. The biggest challenge I faced on this project was that I had to pick which one of the pictures to pick. I kinda made it seem like i was really shopping for baby bottles. I was proud and frustrated because I still can't figure out how to make the bottles disappear when you  drop it on the bunny. >:/

Why President Obama should visit EACPA

I think the school that he visited  was excited to see The President.

I think he should visit EACPA because i know most of us would wanna see him.

If he did come to our school then he would see a lot of working hard students, focused on our school work preparing for college.

I think the President should come because we deserve it and I wanna meet him.

What makes our school worth visiting?

 It's worth visiting because all our teachers care and supprt us to do our best at all times which makes us students at EACPA really smart!

So President Obama should visit EACPA.

Blogging About Blogging

If I was at a school that wouldn't let me do any blogging, I would try to convince them to allow it at the school. I would tell them that blogging helps children build up their writing skills. Blogging is good for students because it helps you become a better writer, it's faster using a computer than writing on paper,you can make new friends with the same interests as you and you can relate to other people's posts that may help you. Some disadvantages for blogging might have to do with people posting inappropriate topics, and we dont get to build up our writing skills.
