About My Topic
My topic is about Global Warming in the arctic. This issue interest me because when I think of the arctic i think of the penguins and stuff like that, and it reminds me of happy feet and i like that movie. I want people to learn about the Global Warming in the Arctic because they dont think about how much fuels there burning and how it will affect them when water rises in the arctic and what will happen to the penguins and other animals.This topic needs to be addressed because rising of water levels will affect everyone and not just people on coastal lines.

I'm designing my game for anyone to play.As long as they know how to use arrow keys.They also need to learn how to read so maybe 6+.[:
WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific!)
My game will teach the player about how much global warming affects the animals and what happens to the animals when there home is gone.
WHERE does your game happen?
I will make the background look like its at the arctic and have the penguin on the ice with water surrounding it and it will have polar bears and other fish that are in the arctic, in the water or the ice.
HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic?
The game teaches people about global warming and what it does to the arctic animals.
The ice melts in the game showing that global warming is happening and the animals all move to where there is ice because all the other ice is melted from the global warming.They learn that the animals all have to adapt and struggle with their homes because of the climate change.
WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz?
A game is a better way of understanding my game because a lot of people like games and so they would pick playing a game over doing a quiz because quizzes are boring. Plus games are played by everyone which means if there is facts then they will learn about whatever the topic it is about. You also have to have good drawings or pictures or whatever or else people will think it looks ugly and boring and not wanna play it and then when they don't play it they don't learn anything and is clueless.[:

March Of The Penguins
1.Some of the challenges that the penguins had to overcome were the harsh blizards and starvation.
2.Their habitat challenges their livlihood everyday by the coldness.
3.They need to adapt to the brutal predators and winters by keeping their babys under the big flap of fat and huddle up in big circles.
4.There is a long period of time without any sunlight, which makes the climate by making it even colder. without the sun the place will get cold.
5. Its important to have the ice solid during breeding time because when the babys hatches, you dont want them falling threw the ice and drown.
6.The climate change can negativly impact the penguins because if there is ice melting then the penguins can die becuase they will be in the water and their predator can eat them. plus then they wont take care of their babys.

- What did you learn from your choice of games and genres to review? I learned about a few social issues and how hard puzzles and mazes can be.

Gamers Solve Scientific Problems
How did gamers use the computer gameFoldit to solve the protein folding mystery? Gamers use the computer game to solve the protein folding mystery by playing the game i think.
Who can particpate in this problem solving and be a player in Foldit? Anyone even if they dont got a backround.
What can critical thinking do for science? anything because even the weirdest ideas of solving somethingg might have a chance @ changing something.
If you could solve a mystery through gaming for any kind of disease or illness in the world, what would it be? i would do one game on kids who have cancer and make a game were something can make it go away because i feel bad for the babys dying cuss they r relly cute and pluss i feel bad for them kids

"Danger Of A Single Story"
Chimamanda Adichie Started reading at the age of 2 And began to write at 7. She thought books were only about White people. Untill she found out they made african american books. Her american roomate felt sorry for her right when they met just because she was african american and from africa she wouldnt know english and have tribal music or use a stove. It made her feel bad because it makes her feel unimportant and poor. Her roomate might have seen and herd diffrent stories about african people and how poor they are from when she was little and now beleived they all are like that. Steriotypes affect people and everything. Before the went to mexico she also thought they were imagrints because of what people were saying about them, but it wasnt true. So you shouldnt beleive everything that you hear. She felt bad that she had judged them from the begining. You shouldnt Judge people by stories or apperances.

What is a cyberbully?
A cyberbully is someone who picks on you or harasses you threw computer.
What are the diffrent types of cyberbullying?
Gossip, Impersonation, exclude, threaten, jealousy, and embarassment.
What should you do if you are being cyberbullied?
Tell an adult and block them. Dont answer their messages, report or Spam.
What are some reasons that people cyberbully others?
Being a bully makes the bully either feel better about there self because they are hurt.
What is the resultof the cyberbullying that Taylor experiences?
Its affecting her relationships between people.
What type of cyberbullying does taylor experience?
Name calling, Rumors, Gossip.
What would you do if you were in Taylor's Shoes?
Transfer Schools and delete the clicksters or tell an adult.
How does Taylor react to the mean comments people keep posting about her?
She tries to go to a group Thing that helps her with her problems.

Madison
Madison is weird and crazy. I think that because when i got at this school, she was staring at me with her eyes big eyes. She was breathing like she was ganna kill me and she had her mouth open looking at me. She gave me a nick name and made jokes about her self. I think she is nice, but sometimes she can be mean. She is funny and can make me laugh whenever i am not happy. She is scary sometimes because at the girl scouts camp i woke up really early and she was staring at me with her crazy eyes.
She always gets in trouble. She also makes her eyes pop out like a crazy person can. She scares me but sometimes i can get used to it. Her favorite song to sing to people is this stalker song. I think Madison is really smart, and like smarter than me but sometimes she doesn't show that. She laughs a lot and still scares me. She calls herself chocolate milk???? Which idk why she would want people to call her that, but if i never met Madison i would not be laughing and just have no smile on my face. Madison is funny and i NEVER met anyone like her, at all and i don't think i would ever meet someone like her in my life. Alot of people at this school told me to stay away from her, and i knew why but sometimes i didnt listen to then because she wanst that bad, sometimes.

NASA
My thoughts about the movie Apollo 13 was that it was a good movie. I liked the part whenever they were runing out of air. The main characters were Jim Lovell, Jack Swigert, and fred haise. I actually thought they would not make it to Earth on time.

THE LIGHTNING THEIF CHAPTER ONE.
In The Lightning Theif, there is a boy named Percy. Percy has a best friend named Grover. Grover and Percy dont like this one chick named Nacy who always picks on them and mostly Grover. In chapter one, they go to a feild trip to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. When they arrive to the field trip, Nacy was whispering to her friends, making it hard for Percy to hear what his teacher was saying about gods and godesses. Ms. Dods is a teacher who always gets mad at every little thing Percy does. Really she just hates him. So whenever its lunch time, Nacy drops her half eaten lunch on Grover on purpose. Percy is sick and tired of her messing with him so he gets up and they start fighting. He doesnt remember pushing her into the fountain but somehow she ended up falling in to water yelling, "PERCY PUSHED ME!". Some people thought they saw the water grab her, but that sounds kind of weird and not true. Ms.Dods talks to Percy in the building. She talks about them knowing something about him but he doesn't know what they are talking about. Then Finaly she ends up turning into a monster looking thing with leathery wings and glowing eyes. He had no idea she was not Ms.Dods. Then he sees his other teacher walk into the room and threw him the pen wich turned into a sword when he touched it. He made her vaporized. After he went back outside, everyone acted like they didnt know who was Ms.Dods
